There is literally no oversight over who the President of the US pardons, it's insane.
It's almost like people have been calling it a failed system for years but were hushed by those reaping it's benefits.

Santos pled guilty. One of his co-conspirators gave testimony and reached a plea deal and they had him dead to rights so he pled guilty in his own plea deal. Probably to get less time.
