Bought it on Steam, set it up to download this morning, came back to feel the Halo: CE nostalgia... and it turns out that by default Steam only installs fucking Halo Reach and you have to run the game and download the other Halo entries separately.

Which asshole at Microsoft had this idea? WAS IT YOU, BILL GATES? WAS IT ALSO YOUR IDEA TO FORCE ME TO LOG IN TO AN M$ ACCOUNT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME I BOUGHT?

I should have downloaded a torrent with a cracked exe. Let this be a lesson for you, kids.

edit: AND NOW ITS AT 100% BUT IT JUST SAYS FUCKING "PENDING" AND WONT LET ME PLAY THE GAME AFGHLasijk hvgdfwiqouhjhgvfriwehuloa hgviruyeowqa ghviuyorweq bgviuyorewaqhgviue

Ehh, in this age of bloated game installs allowing to choose the specific chunks of the game you want is nice.

Also how do you make 6 Xbox and Xbox 360 games take up 100+ gigs

You can manually set it to download the other campaigns via the DLC manager on your steam library, you don't have to boot it up first. When MCC first released on steam, all it had was reach and having to select what campaigns to download stopped it bloating in size if you didn't want specific content. E.g. I never play PVP, so I'm glad it doesn't automatically download the multiplayer maps.
