“No CEOs or politicians”

Ridiculous. Anyone worth killing will either be a CEO or described as a politician in some capacity.

[-] racketlauncher831@lemmy.ml 20 points 3 days ago

Remove OP first, then two CEOs.

[-] wuphysics87@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 days ago

Ouch. I only said no politicians or ceos because everyone would more or less say the same thing

[-] racketlauncher831@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 days ago

Well actually this is a very good point. You should have stated this in the post body.

[-] erusuoyera@sh.itjust.works 36 points 4 days ago

No CEOs or politicians makes it hard. Can we do people from the past? If so I choose baby Donald Trump, baby Elon Musk and baby Peter Theil.

[-] morgan_423@lemmy.world 25 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

If you're doing consideration of past people, give consideration to baby Thomas Midgely Jr.

He's the dude that effectively invented leaded gasoline AND chlorofluorocarbons. It can be argued that no other single human in history did more widespread damage to the environment than he did.

[-] MrsDoyle@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

Just now posted about him, what a car crash of a guy.

[-] AnchoriteMagus@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago

Bro contracted lead poisoning, was informed of TEL's toxicity in 1922, and was still stupid enough to deliberately give himself lead poisoning again in 1924 to trick people into thinking it was safe.

Not only irreparable and frankly incomprehensible levels of environmental damage, but his products are cumulatively estimated to have stolen at least 824 million IQ points from people born during their use.

Dude reminds me of Wildman Whitehouse holy shit

[-] Artemis_Mystique@lemmy.ml 3 points 3 days ago

Making the argument that you should kill scientists for their inventions is short sighted, dumb and morally dubious

  1. Its Science, if Thomas didn't invent leaded gasoline someone else would have figured it out, an interesting parallel is Fritz Haber, discoverer of the habers process(iykyk).

  2. Even if he invented it, it was the corpos who heavily pushed and kept it in circulation for their own benefit.

  3. Attacking Science in any way compromises human progress, CFC's were the stepping stone to less harmful refrigerants.

no ceos or politicians??? then whats the point!?

[-] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 7 points 4 days ago

[-] HubertManne@piefed.social 4 points 4 days ago

[-] wuphysics87@lemmy.ml 6 points 4 days ago

It's too easy to come up with a list of 20+

Stephen Miller isn't an elected politician. I'd also like to nominate Rupert Murdoch and Andrew Tate.

EDIT: In my cups, I'd probably nominate my son-in-law and daughter-in-law as numbers 2 and 3 instead.

[-] AnchoriteMagus@lemmy.world 7 points 4 days ago

Andrew Tate's a good one

The fathers of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos.

Erasing the existence of anyone would have to be done in the past so that shouldnt be an issue.

[-] pyrinix@kbin.melroy.org 8 points 3 days ago

Screw your rules

Elon Musk Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Two in One, counts as one) Sundar Pichai

Joe Rogan

It really is astonishing to see a guy thoroughly fun to watch on NewsRadio, across most of his standup routines, and even early-on in his podcasts go from left-leaning, sympathetic, and genuinely curious person about all kinds of things, all the way to a naked sellout, whose usual defense of being a right-wing asshat is to proclaim "I'm just asking questions!"

On a parallel note, I understand that Kentucky's Mitch M. went from left-wing politico earlier in his career to essentially Darth Vader in the last few decades. Which is why I'd think it would be both fascinating, horrifying and hugely revealing to learn just how that happened, in as much detail as possible...

Maybe too many blows to the head after getting into MMA?

[-] JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social 3 points 4 days ago

Nah, he's a long-time MMA commenter, not a participant. In fact, her ladyship Ronda Rousey called him out on that just recently. OTOH he actually does hold two legit Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts, so the man is no fraud in terms of martial arts.

Like his master Dana White though, it seems he's heavily in to nootropics and performance-enhancing shizzle. Along those lines, it seemed to me that both of them were fairly handsome men only a few years ago, and these days they just look... weird... Like, sort of greasy-faced, with enlarged heads, and sunken facial features.

[-] Mangoholic@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago

Trumps parents. No parents no trump. Elon's aswell as Hitler's etc. you get the idea.

Assuming currently living people

I would start with whoever made that Transformer research paper in 2017 which paved the way to this LLM craze
