I get it but at the same time I do not. It is a reference to a movie or something?

We have a cat, has been like 4 months since we adopted her. Since then she has only commited just one crime, that was chew the internet's optic fiber.

Yesterday, I was playing Dragon Quest using Punes. I started a new log, from level 1 to level 11. If you have played DQ before you now that the only way to advance in that game is grinding. The thing is that I set my PC in other shelf to have more space to be able to add some speakers in the desk, now, our cat is able to get over the PC, this was the case latenight. By accident, she step on in the on/off button, and pum. I lost everything. I was saving my game by going to the king every level I upload, but for some odd reason, Punes save the game into sram once you close the emulator. When I turned on the PC again... I just got the 1000 kitties stare.

A friend of mine was helping me to do some screens to make some OBS Studio scenes. We were on discord sharing our workflow via screen share, then he looks for an AI model using a search engine. Then upload an image just to cut the white background. I told him that easily he could use the magic wand in photoshop or gimp to cut it out, even, if he wanted, customize the settings to achieve saw edges or none of them. The place where he works loads a bunch of work to him, so, he says me that that's the only way to make the day job done, but, the image that the AI spit out was horrible. The AI not just cut the background, it cut relevant part of the image too, also, it added some transparency to the image. Thing that my buddy had to fix in photoshop adding some black under it in another layer.

I do not know how to talk to him about it, because he was the photoshop guy in highschool and I was the gimp guy in highschool, we always tried to achieve the same things in both softwares, we got pretty good in them. He uses AI for everything now, to add subtitles, to delete content from a video or image, to cut background, etc, just to fix it in photoshop or whatever.

I started to write a script for a video about how clickbait have really damaged the platform, clickbait taking it to the point the make the creators says "it's okay, we need monetize, we need to catch your attention somehow, this is the only and the good way", and I need to make some field research gathering some people opinions about it (I going to ask to some people IRL too). So what do you think? Feel free to answer any of the questions below, and add whatever come to your mind, everything it's appreciated.

  • Do you use youtube mainly?
  • Do you care about clickbait?
  • Did clickbait make you stop seeing some creator?
  • Did you use youtube but clickbait (among other things) made you to stop using it's platform?
  • Do you think clickbait is the major of the YouTube's problems?
  • Do you see something good in clickbait among the bad things? Like, which ones?
  • Could we see clickbait as a necessary evil?

Thanks again! Have a nice day.

Edit: format added to the questions.

I was into a rabbit hole questioning me about God's existence, debating myself and looking for different opinions of different people, when, sadly, I found that the bible is copyrighted.

You can find the licenses nearly at the bottom. https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/es/Hebreos%2011%3A6

It's was sad, because it make me stop questioning me about the existence of god, everything started because I said to me "if god exists, then faith is useless, we need the inexistence of god to have faith", but that, makes me feel less faith

I just saw this strip of The far side, where a duck says how its wife just say "quack quack quack" in the morning and "quack quack quack" in the night, instead of "blah blah blah".

I've played A dark room, and Zork. I'm looking something more like the first one, text-based but able to push some buttons to do things rater than do everything with commands. I've thinking in Dwarf Fortress, but it's too colorish, like Brogue, which I do like a lot.

Do anyone have some recommendations? Thank you.

We are coming from here.

I'm not gonna lie, guys, neither say the opposite: there are people who play in their phones, I bet you do, so do I. I'm curious to know what do you play in your phones, what kind of "phone gamer" are you. Remember PDAs? The only games that things had were mineswipper, solitaire, chess, sudoku among others. All those are games that perfectly use the touch capabilities of its device, but now, we have more process capacity, and we still have one touch screen (I know, you can touch many points of the screen at the same time). I've always seen the screen of my phone as a one big button, so, I can't play any game that needs more than one touch to be played. I do limit my catalogue of games to those mentioned above, and I really like them. I love sudoku.

What do you play in your phone?

Maybe the question is not well written, but it's because I do not really know what's happening in here. I'm learning Rust, I'm doing pretty good, but this is the second time that stomp with this.

First, I thought that only the Add trait would be enough, but the LSP keep saying me this if I do not add the "restriction", as far as I know.

What I do not get is what <Output = T> is. I know that is using the type T, but why it is assigned to Output?

The first time that I saw something similar was in the Rust book that comes with rustup, just look at the next function signature

Thank you for you help, you are awesome.

Well, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and now Whatsapp. I really can't stand using an app that has ads. I really really could use them if they weren't so intrusive or annoying, Whatsapp it's the only META app that I'm still using due my close relations do use it.

Which App do you use to chat with your closest people? You simple don't? Or you use another medium to get in touch? I always can make a call to my relatives, but there are people, like my gf, which I need to communicate in more than one way, send audios, photos, videos, etc. Every reply it's appreciate it.

AI sure killed the motto KISS. Copilot for notepad is literally using a nuclear reactor to light a single bulb.
