Seems to be back up. If something's down, I usually throw it into Down for Everyone or Just Me, or just wait for a day. Stuff goes down sometimes
Yeah, it seems I've pulled the trigger a bit soon. I was just about to head to bed when I noticed, which is arguably not the best moment to be posting haha...
When it was offline it was working correctly
Edit: Never mind, I thought the flock cameras themselves were offline.
If memory serves, deflock is effectively just a front end of all the data amassed on open street maps for these types of cameras and such.
Im not sure what the situation is of course, but it's worth knowing that as long as that data remains, deflock can be rebuilt to show just the camera data once again.
Obviously though, id prefer that to not be the case and maybe the device hosting just needed a nap or upgrade.
That's correct, I've also added some ALPRs to OSM; which is why I decided to check it once more. There's other websites, which also render ALPRs (alongside other surveillance POIs) on a map. However, DeFlock's is the most clear for ALPRs in specific, at least for what I've seen, and also providing information on the subject. I simply noticed it being offline, and figured it might be relevant to the community.
It’s working now. Sometimes websites briefly stop working, for a multitude of reasons. Usually I just go take a quick nap, the come back and hit F5, kind of like how you skip time forward in Skyrim.
I noticed it just before heading to bed, so I'll take the sound bit of advise, and sleep over it the next time haha.
