Nobody has the time to wait for trypsin to do its work
I had an experiment to test a hypothesis that our target molecule was causing maturation in cancerous blast cells. Long story short I was in charge of culturing a few dozen different testing conditions, commandeered an entire incubator for a month, spent 4 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon changing the media, and it all proved that; no, the hypothesis wasn't correct.
And my God had I wished I didn't need to wait for trypsin.
