He's also a felon.

And pedophile.

Adult rapist too.

[-] village604@adultswim.fan 5 points 1 month ago

Don't forget that he wants to fuck his daughter, and probably already has.

That 1000 yard stare of her talking about her old bedroom is haunting.

What's hilarious is, he didn't even leave room for himself to play the "but the president doesn't really have control over the price of gas (unless it's Biden)" card, because every single person in the world knows damn well why gas prices are up.

[-] qc_butter1@infosec.pub 4 points 1 month ago

Unfortunately they don't... The conservatives I know in California are blaming Governor Newsome.

[-] hanrahan@slrpnk.net 3 points 1 month ago

because every single person in the world knows damn well why gas prices are up.

once again, people underestimate the number of stupid people in the world.

[-] Formfiller@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

What a loser

[-] lemmyng@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

He got 99 problems, but a brain ain't one.

Seriously, his brain is mashed potatoes sprinkled with Adderall.

[-] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

I thought we weren’t allowed to criticize Donald after Joe pardoned Hunter, Nate.

[-] orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 month ago

Yeah. Fuck Nate Silver. That asshole is responsible for a lot of bullshit and chaos in the 2012 and 2016 elections. Piece of trash.

[-] Krono@lemmy.today 5 points 1 month ago

Nate Bronze keeps falling lower. He started as a serious data analyst, now he's writing clickbait articles, desperate for attention.

I guess Harry Enten was the real star at FiveThirtyEight. Holy toledo.

[-] Twinklebreeze@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Nate worked best with a team of people to keep him in check. Harry and Claire did some serious work at fivethirtyeight.

[-] P00ptart@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Also, every other polling service has his numbers lower.

The damage to Trump’s approval ratings traces to “about a week into the war when markets started to freak out over the likelihood of a prolonged disruption to oil shipments in the Persian Gulf,” wrote Silver, sharing a graph from GasBuddy data.

The gas prices are now well above any other point in Trump’s second term so far — or the last few months of the 2024 election cycle, which was heavily influenced by voters’ concerns about inflation and other economic issues:

Gas prices are likely to a sore point for a president who an election largely on inflation. In 2024, 40 percent of voters in the exit poll said that “high prices for gas, groceries and other goods” was the single most important factor deciding their vote, and they broke 2:1 for Trump. It would be hard to pick a more visible indicator of affordability.

Silver doesn't discuss it, but normally, presidents also "prep" the public for a conflict

explain why it's necessary and such, and Trump has broken from the norm on that.

[-] takeda@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 month ago

He thought it would be as easy as Venezuela. They just pop up, kill the Ayatollah and replace it with another person (doesn't matter it makes no sense)

In reality he installed Aya-TOLL-ah, lifted sanctions on Iran, turned US bases in Middle East from assets to liabilities and ensured that now Iran will definitively get nuclear weapons.

[-] jagermo@feddit.org 3 points 1 month ago

Also, Iran now earns about double on their sanction skirting oil exports, Trump is basically funding the Iran regime.

And, the strait of hormuz is so fortified that the US navy can't move into it, since ships might get sunk.

explain why it’s necessary and such

Oh? I'm supposed to explain why I'm killing the puppy?
-Trump and the entire US government.

[-] NotMyOldRedditName@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

It's not like he can say it's to distract from the Epstein files and try to declare the midterm elections cancelled due to the war.

[-] Buffalox@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

Yes I think the problem is identified right there.

[-] tomiant@piefed.social -1 points 1 month ago
[-] EtAl@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

Does Trump have a Boxing Helena fetish?

[-] ati@piefed.social 0 points 1 month ago

That picture is totally armless.

[-] tomiant@piefed.social 1 points 1 month ago

Maybe her arms are hands are ziptied behind her back.

[-] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

trump has been exposed as a fumbling idiot, but with brazen swagger. The endless "lowest polling ever" statements have been repeated so often that they've surely become a badge of honour for him.

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago

"Warns. " Like it's a problem.

[-] Rusticus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Trump doesn’t care about votes anymore. That’s what Elon is for.

[-] El_Scapacabra@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago

Right. This is almost as much of a problem for him as his lack of golfing skills.

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

What makes me wonder is that there are still 22% of the population who are still in denial.

And in the end, the most profound problem that Trump has is not his lack of approval. His most profound problem is right between his ears, and could be called a lot of bad luck with thinking...

It doesnt really matter what his approval numbers are, only the party faithful will be allowed to vote in the mid terms, so the GOP will win all the elections

[-] tomiant@piefed.social 2 points 1 month ago

‘Trump Has Profound Problems' sums it up pretty well for his whole life.

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

This President has profound problems, and his polls are also low....

[-] electrotabby@piefed.social 1 points 1 month ago

I thought he ordered them to stop polling presidential approval?

[-] apfelwoiSchoppen@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Never trust a stats guy who's a degenerate gambler. Fuck Trump, but also Fuck Nate Silver.

[-] Buffalox@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

Oh I thought profound problems meant he is dying.
Ah well it can't be long now, unfortunately Vance is just as much a psycho, maybe even worse.

[-] tomiant@piefed.social -1 points 1 month ago

I will be glad to announce that he is, in fact, dying.

[-] Buffalox@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

Actually I hope he will live for 20 years more, but be paralyzed so he can't speak.
That may make me evil, but not remotely as evil as Trump.

[-] tomiant@piefed.social 2 points 1 month ago

"May you live forever"
