Round Lasagna? You are out of control. How do you slice it? like a pie?

[-] Goldholz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 2 weeks ago

The square tray broke while moving :(

[-] pohart@programming.dev 4 points 2 weeks ago

But where do you get the round noodles?

[-] plz1@lemmy.world 0 points 2 weeks ago

If you're not using the ready-bake ones, you can just cut the par-cooked noodles to fit.

just cut the par-cooked noodles to fit

In that case, what do you do with the trimmings?

[-] Jimmycrackcrack@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago

If you trimmed them to fit, most likely you'd have spaces around the circumference of the circular dish unfilled by pasta so you'd put the trimmings in there.

I... I just snap the ready-bake ones into the right shape, like a person making stained glass windows

if you're making your own pasta, you can just roll it into a ~~piecrust~~ round sheet.

[-] Zahille7@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Hell yeah, Italian meat pie.

[-] Kolanaki@pawb.social 3 points 2 weeks ago

Deconstruct it and eat it layer by layer.

This is the way.

I didn't know they let you make lasagna in a round dish. What's next, soup in a square pot?

[-] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 weeks ago

You reported this violation, right?
