Any app that you are using to track your medical information is 100% saving that data and selling it off. I don't know why people are shocked to discover this.
Not if your app is open-source, like from F-droid.
BlueMoon and Periodical can also be found on the F-Droid app store, no need for Google Play Services:

Mensinator is also FOSS! Easy convenient IU super fast. Drip is slower more UI clunky.
My GF uses Flo. Can you elaborate why it is spyware? Who is spying? What data are being collected?
