I saw OK Go in Detroit last year and at first the all ages concept weirded me out, but it was awesome seeing families take their kids and the band did such a great job interacting with the kids. I loved it so much

Alexis de Tocqueville pretty much predicted this 200 years ago when he did his study on democracy in the US. He pointed out that there was nothing in place to actually enforce the separation of powers and it would take only one despot to throw the whole thing in the trash. The only thing that would surprise him today is how long it took for America to reach this point.

Obviously some template phrases are repeated a lot, but those are not the majority of sentences. Consider talking to someone on the phone for 20 minutes. You have the customary greetings that take maybe 30 seconds along with your farewell in the last 30 seconds, then you have the next 19 minutes of actual conversation where you exchange information. The conversation would not need to last for 20 minutes if you were just repeating the same phrases over and over again.

Vote for the cops. That's basically the plot of the original movie

So back when Super Size me came out, you could easily feed a family of 4 for like $10. Now McDonald's is as much as getting a burger from a sit down restaurant and takes forever because they have transitioned to doing Doordash for whatever reason

When was this? Because of seriously doubt it cost £10 for a McDonald's meal back in in 2004. That would have been $20USD at a time when you could still get a Big Mac from the dollar menu

Yeah I work for a commercial print shop and I would rate our printers on a scale of "Useless piece of expensive shit" and "can we please just get through until my lunch break when I'm not so hungover?"

Birds do a great job of disabling planes and they don't have warheads, so YMMV I suppose.

He is referring to the Ohio Supreme court ruling that boneless wings can have ~~wing~~ bones in them summer 2024

But I also want to point out that chicken nuggets are different than boneless wings (or chicken chunks as well call them in my area). Nuggets are chicken scraps that are processed and molded into shapes. Chunks/boneless wings are chunks of chicken breast and are 100% actual meat plus breading.

Keep in mind you also aren't a child/teenager anymore. I used to love Doritos and mountain dew 15 years ago, but I never touch either anymore.
