I struggled for a while trying to think how to type it. Donk was my first one to go to but it didn't evoke that hollow part of the noise when it hits you

I got a refurb Thinkpad T495s at a business sale, and I was astonished to realize they still have the nipple mouse
I mean, it is pretty fun to play with the uhm … nipple … mouse.

even the new ones still have it! I honestly couldn't imagine buying a laptop without a nipple mouse
there are a few non ThinkPad laptops with a mouse button or as you call it a nipple mouse
And 3 mouse buttons! Perfect for X11.
I absolutely love the nipple. I wish more keyboards had it. I have a decent mouse, however if I had a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard with a nipple it would be brilliant.

It reminds me of a game called "Völkerball" we have here in Germany. I suppose that is our equivalent to dodge ball, which I think this is in reference to.
I need to fresh up some memories here. Have you played it only after sports classes "just for fun" and have you played it with a so called "medicine ball" which made like this sound when hitting someone on the tighs or stomach: "PHHTHUMPBUMP" where the last BUMP is from the echo the impact made through the sports hall? All I know is I hated it the same as being a keeper in handball.

They're for dodgeball, so that's basically what they are. We play dodgeball to prepare us for the rest of the day dodging bullets.

"Thonk" was more like what the foam ones did. These were more of a "Poinnng" with hard attack on the P.

When it hit you in the face, it's more of a "ping"...
I only know the noise of one bouncing off a small kid's face.

There is no way I can accurately convey the sound these balls make in text or even vocally. It's that unique.
