He didn't abandon his dreams, they were the dream.
No, he definitely abandoned his dreams.
Just decided giving someone else a good life was worth it.
can i steal this for a song
Haha, yes!
if you give me a link to it (im not the oc)
No im not crying youre crying
A fly got into my eye
I was just dicing some onions last week
Wait, did you actually? This might sound wierd but my eyes only got like above avarage moisty. I'd like to know if I'm stoic or if you were just making a joke.
don't get me wrong I feel that it's a touching story, and I find it beautiful, I just didn't get that emotional to cry.
I mean, different people have different emotional responses to things. Something that makes you completely break down and sob won't break a frown on someone else.
Feel good green text; Best green text.
Don't even care that it could be fake.
Fake and still made me cry.
Why is it that in all these stories the kid is actually decent, listens to their parents advice and does well in life?
A lot of the kids I know are little arseholes who do the exact opposite of whatever their parents tell them.
Because those asshole children won't write these stories
In this story, the father builds a relationship with their son on common grounds. Parents and children speaking the same language makes building the trust where a child listens to the parent much easier.
In sure this parent and child had times where they were strained in their relationship but that's not what the OP has chosen to share because that's not how he wants to remember it.
This is very different than the relationship I had with my parents which was a lot of them trying to convert me to their interests and ignoring my own. And out of the gate yelling when they didn't get their desired outcome from me immediately. I turned out mostly fine in spite of them. But I also wasn't inspired to listen to them because they threw more tantrums than I did.
