I'm going to do these periodically.

Title kinda says all.

I'll have my own reply later.

Special weekly question:

What do you like most about 2023's repertoire of video games?

Infra Arcana(awesome, free, roguelike), trying out Super mario world rom hack - Nachos and fried oreos and jump 1/2.

I might get Hyper Demon at some point, it looks dope and enjoyed Devil Daggers. Might get steam Dwarf Fortress too(whenever I play the free version lose a week or two of my life, then don't touch it for a year and starting to get the itch again). I have Final Fantasy Tactics on my list to play. Also sorta want to play a puzzle game, not sure which though--maybe actually finish Baba is You.

I don't really pay attention to recent releases or keep up on that stuff, so nothing to say about 2023 games.

I got the skyrim anniversary addition for my nephew to play when he comes over. Been playing 2-3 hours a day for a week now. Kind of shocked it was made by the same people that did the fallout series.

Do you mean that last part in a good way or bad way?

I've been playing nothing but Brigador for like two months now.

Tried to get into Shadows of Doubt but that games a bit of a time commitment and also the mechanics are kinda wonky.

I have a mid PC so I really only play lower-Rez indie games, like interactive novels a lot.

I played the Coffin of Andy and Leyley and it was fine. I also played a bit of the Edo Period Yakzua game (They cannot make me care about koi-koi, and they should stop trying) Also tried out dicey dungeons for a lark, it's pretty fun so far, but I hate playing the inventor.

I'm on my second attempt at Hi Fi Rush - first time I played it a bunch, then got busy and had to take a break, then forgot all the combos and decided to restart. It's a fun take on the rhythm game genre but keeping track of all the different combat elements is slightly maddening.

Also still plugging away at the post-game of Cassette Beasts. Anyone who enjoyed Pokémon as a kid should absolutely give it a shot.

Yeah, Cassette Beats has great reviews.

Swtor, a new APAC server has launched recently, also new patch 7.4 will come out tomorrow. Starting all over again and unlock everything again has been refreshing. Also new server so I don't have to deal with inflation(+ exploits) over the years.

This should keep me occupied for quite some time.

SWTOR

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. A long time...

I almost exclusively play Darkest Dungeon 1 & 2, but I did finish Digimon Survive after a half-year of off-an-on play and I keep trying to get into Hylics with similar nature. That said, I do love the variety of games out this year. I look forward to playing Alan Wake 2 in a year or two when it goes on sale and maybe I'll hop back into Horizon: Zero Dawn. I've been on that file since the game was released in 2016 or so. It's so pretty and fun, but my ADHD makes gaming difficult.

Yeah, my ADHD also makes gaming difficult, though lately I've had more success playing games.
