It’s not surprising. Mostly because, ya know, they aren’t actually sorry.
Maybe sorry they got caught. Or maybe sorry it didn't work out the way they planned.
"I'm sorry you feel that way."
Ahhhh, that's the one ✨
See people act like that is a cop out, but there are a lot of times in my life where I stand 100% by what I said, I am also not happy that it made them feel bad.
I 100% agree with you, sometimes it’s definitely a cop out, but there are many situations where it’s felt like the exact sentiment I wanted to express but chose to avoid it because it’s kinda been memeified
as a condition of their plea deals in the Georgia election interference case are just one sentence long.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a standard practice.
It's just a legal tool. Even prosecutors are not interested in the depth of apology. Why would a defendant write a long text with 1000s of words, of which one tiny word choice can lead to a huge problem.
That's fair. Still disappointing tho.
Were you expecting heartfelt expressions of remorse? Powell still thinks Trump won.
I was expecting more than one sentence.
Yeah sorry you had to find out this way. Justice smells a little funky sometimes.
Sowwy fow the tweason 🥹👉👈
just a widdle twolling
Fail. We need a full page, single spaced, in their best cursive.
I'd accept these one-sentence apologies if they had to write them out 100 times on a chalkboard like Bart Simpson.
In public.
Written with their non-dominant hand. In pen. WITH NO WHITE-OUT. That'll teach 'em to make a mockery of our nation.
While frustrating, this is the benefit you get for turning early. Apology statements are worthless anyways. It's the proffer and testimony they'll give at trial that will determine how much value they provided to the case.
Now say it like you mean it
That's impossible. Conservatives are not capable of remorse.
I apologize for my actions not being successful in connection with the events in Coffee County.
It’s frustrating, but we already knew they didn’t and don’t have remorse for their actions.
Making them write an apology letter as if they were in the third grade doesn’t change that.
"I state my regret."
"In accordance with legal requirements, I hereby state my regret."
she pleaded guilty to six misdemeanors accusing her of conspiring to intentionally interfere with the performance of election duties.
Weird to see something so vitally important like that be measured as just being misdemeanors.
Prosecution deals are a hell of a thing. But they’re shooting for the king, so they need their turncoats.
Is that guy's name really Cheese Bro?
He insists it's not pronounced that way but it so obviously is.
And he’s from Wisconsin Cheese Head Bro
These cunts better serve time.
Sidney Powell is one of those people who are incredibly, jaw-droppingly stupid and astoundingly confident that they are smarter than everyone else in every room they enter.
She really has zero awareness of just how dumb the things she says are.
She should get a PE and go work for Parsons. Fit right in.
A major problem of reading MAGA text is that it rots the brain. And even for this price, what we get in exchange is garbage.
Good thing most of them can't read.
