If people think you're funny and charming, you are actually funny and charming. You might not actually be comfortable in your own skin, but plenty of people are similtaneously depressed and likable.

I've been here. This is tough. You're OK. You're not weird.

Wherever you are, whatever you're dealing with, take a deep breath. Go inside yourself.

Say "Hey, what's up, what's the vibe in here?" Just listen. Anything you hear, validate: "Yah, I hear that."

Form new connections with yourself. Ask questions. Get to know all the different parts of yourself. It's possible, and it will change everything.

I know this sounds crazy. Just try listening to yourself with gentleness and understanding. You won't be sorry you did.
