Jimmy Kimmel made fun of Aaron Rodgers for being a dumb conspiracist so Aaron Rodgers called Jimmy Kimmel a pedophile because that's what dumb conspiracists do.
I used to not like Jimmy Kimmel much. He was okay on Win Ben Stein's Money and I thought The Man Show was God-awful so I couldn't really comment on him there, but that show turned me off of his talk show for a long time.
Then, this year, I started watching his monologues on YouTube. He has been hitting them out of the fucking park and he hits Trump hard. Apparently Trump watches him, at least sometimes, because he's responded to things Kimmel said that night during some of his late-night rants. Also, he comes across as a genuinely likeable guy.
His response to Aaron Rodgers was perfect:
Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.
The Man Show was awful. Not going to defend it.
But you could see sparks of quality writing and satire. It was almost like they wanted to make it more satirical but it was more marketable as a show for "men."
The show also gave life to Joe Rogan's podcast career, so that sucks.
My reason at the time was that I never liked Adam Carolla. I still don't like him, especially now that I know he's another Republican asshole.
I liked the Man Show just to watch The Fox chug giant beers. That still impresses me.
RIP Fox
I had the same thoughts as you, especially regarding his hosting job on the abomination that was The Man Show. He has come a long way since then and is a really good dude.
Aaron Rodgers is a person who could have had an extremely successful post-sports career if he just kept his insanity under his hat. He was easily a top 10 all time QB, but all he'll be remembered for is the mental deficiency.
if he just kept his insanity under his hat
i'm sick of this reasoning.. i want to look under everyone's hat right now.. everyone lift your hat up and show us all what's underneath, i'm tired of wondering about which of you are ignorant fascists..
This. Fascism: yes/no? Every 'celebrity' and politician needs too pick an answer.
even if they're just "fascism curious", i want these cowards and morons to start owning it
I’m balding ok??! Nothing else to see here…
Oh I agree with you on that. It's nice when the nutjobs wear bright red hats that let you know their not worth talking to. I know now that when I see Aaron on television, I can turn it off. It's just weird to me that he doesn't have a publicist or an agent that is standing next to him giving him a silent hand signal to shut the fuck up.
Or maybe he has that person for most of his career, and he fired that person during the pandemic.
CTEs go brrrrr
Quarterbacks aren't known for getting head injuries. Quarterbacks rarely get hit at all, and when it does happen they get hit with the lightest possible force. Aaron Rodgers is probably just his natural unlikable self.
Tell that to Tua
As I said, not never, but it's rare. I'm not aware of any incident of Rodgers taking a notably hard hit to the head, let alone getting a concussion.
He had a concussion in 2018 where he lost vision for a full minute
Edit: two in 2010 as well. He described his vision on one eye going “metallic” after one of them. That just covers his professional career; guy’s brain is probably mush.
Oof, yeah, then I stand corrected. It's possible he may be naturally unlikable, but it's also very possible that head injuries made him a worse person. Scary stuff.
They've changed to rules a lot in this area. QB sackings used to be gladiatorial events. I think Rogers probably experienced at least some of the bad old days.
I'm really not trying to be overly mean here, but you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. Aaron Rodgers has had MULTIPLE season ending contact related injuries including a badly broken collar bone. Just because they are currently enforcing better protection for quarterbacks doesn't really mean shit. By the time an athlete makes it to the NFL they may have already suffered a significant number of concussions. It's a violent sport, and CTE is a serious concern for everyone on the field, except maybe the kicker/punter.
His mental deficiency fits in quite well with Jets fans, though. One of their proudest accomplishments is their collective ability to spell a 4 letter word.
Bro.....😂
I can't stand Jimmy Kimmel but I can stand concussed Meatheads using their sports fame as a platform to blast their political conspiracy shit to the world even less
Kimmel may as well include Pat McAfee in the lawsuit for funding this trash and giving it a disinformation platform
