The Malaysia 2023 state elections happening in Kedah, Kelantan, Penang, Terengganu, Selangor and Negri Sembilan. This post will bring you coverage of the election day, and will be updated from time to time, with fluff pieces cut out and summarised.

SHAH ALAM: Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) candidate Syaidiyah Izzati Nur Razak Maideen is leading the unofficial vote counting for Batu Tiga constituency as of 7pm.

According to SelangorKini, she recorded 656 votes and closely followed by Danial Al-Rashid Haron from Pakatan Harapan (PH) who garnered 424 votes so far.

Datuk Seri Rina Harun from Perikatan Nasional (PN) gotten 42 votes.

SHAH ALAM: In Subang Jaya, Pakatan Harapan's Michelle Ng Mei Sze has taken an early lead with 396 votes as of 6.45pm.

Her opponents S. Gana of Perikatan Nasional and Zayd Shaukat of Muda have so far amassed 53 and 31 votes, respectively.

In Kampung Tunku, PH's Lim Yi Wei has also taken the lead with 794 votes compared to PN's Ruby Chin, who has 219 votes for now.

SHAH ALAM: In the Kinrara state seat, Perikatan Nasional's Wong Yong Kang is leading his opponent, Pakatan Harapan's Ng Sze Han by 626 votes to 206 votes as of 6.45pm.

In Pandamaran, PN's Gunalan Balakrishnan is in the lead so far with 445 votes compared to Leong Tuck Chee of (257) and Tan Kang Yap of Parti Rakyat Malaysia, who has only two votes for now.
