New IP from Kojima is always exciting news to hear.

I watched the trailer for death stranding and it was very... eclectic. Don't wanna play the game but I would watch the shit it out of it if it was a movie.

He had the sauce. It has gone cold.

Espionage thrillers are his thing though, I think its possible that a return to form for him might be good after whatever the fuck was going on in death stranding.

I really liked Death Stranding. Not as much as MGSV, but like a lot of Kojima games it was really prescient, and I found it was the perfect game for the COVID era.

Would be very funny if he just started making Metal Gear Solid again, except with characters and plot being given legally distinct names.

i hope its a new metal gear style game, death stranding was cool and artsy and i loved it but metal gear solid 5 was almost truly amazing and needs to be FINISHED, good lord what a waste of excellent combat and stealth gameplay, putting it in a bunch of desolate open maps in military occupations with no civillians whatsoever, stripped out survival elements and less fun items like magazines (the book not the ammo container), rations, energy drinks, etc. like in MGS4 and MGS3. MGSV really shined in its more complex and dense areas with a lot of interiors and buildings and verticality, and its a shame there are only a handful of those in only a handful of campaign missions and the occasional much less cool rotating side mission. its also a shame that theres basically no interiors to Mother Base, for yourself or for infiltration missions of other players. and of course they never finished the plot with the cut final chapter. i still played the absolute crap out of it though. death stranding is good but i only finished it once so far, the beginning is super duper slow, the later parts are almost exactly like MGSV but with guns that shoot blood shit sweat and piss lol. plus idk if Yoji Shinkawa is still doing the mechanical and character designs but if so it will surely be great, his stuff is like at least final fantasy tier with great attention to detail and world building despite being stupid/cool/impractical in concept. i love the tall trucks in death stranding and the walker gear in MGSV and the armored suits in both are great.

Is this a different game than that leaked Overdose one? Kojima Productions is really hitting a good schedule if they're making this many games, but I worry about crunch on the staff. They must be working nonstop. Death Stranding 2 already looks huge.

I believe so. Overdose seems to be a horror game, not a stealth espionage game.

The title at the end seems to be echoed in other articles or maybe it's a production code name. PHYSINT.

Hadn't this already been tried with Quantum Break?
