make sure you're not taking a magnesium supplement at the same time as a stimulant medication. magnesium changes the acidity of your gut and can drastically affect the way your body metabolizes stimulants. if you take a stimulant in the morning, it's okay to take magnesium at night, you just don't want them running into each other in your gut essentially.

pills. the cheapest ones are magnesium oxide, the best ones are magnesium glycinate. don't take magnesium citrate, it'll make you shit your pants
