Disney thinks Start Wars is better in terms of mass market adoption aka more profitability. And they are probably right if that is your definition.

They're regular "no spill" mugs. Pretty useful on a boat.

They're travel mugs for commuting and driving. The wide base means it's less likely to tip over and spill. They were produced before the widespread adoption of cupholders in vehicles.
Neat mug but I bet it's annoying to clean.
They used to sell them back in the day at conventions. My aunt had a few and they were good for hot chocolate. I don't remember them being difficult to clean.
