I'd say throw the book at the kid for using the unfunny F7U12 format but I don't believe in cruel and unusual punishment for such levels of cringe.
Nonsense. It's been long enough that they've lost most cringe value imo, and when used right it's pretty funny. It's the same as how impact font memes were cringe but have seen a resurgence.
Take this post. It is a very simple and ironic post (ironic probably isn't the right word), and using a soyjack wouldn't convey the same energy. Additionally, Joe Biden was vice president when the F7U12 faces were popular, giving the meme a certain timelessness.
Overall I find this meme to be very clever for how simple it is, and that leads me to rate this meme a 9/10.
