So, these asshole owners did rescue their horses and goats, and now we are supposed to feel happy that one left-behind pig did survive despite their neglect?
~~You should read past the headline~~ sorry, of course you read past the headline, you mentioned the goats and horses in your comment. I just don't think these are the actions of assholes:
Lawrie said her father, Jeff Findlay, had tried to load Poomba and her sister pig, Miss Wilbur, for evacuation as the McDougall Creek wildfire advanced on the property last week. But they were too stubborn, and Findlay had to flee without them. The ranch was “surrounded by flames” when Findlay left, said Lawrie.
They are ranchers. They are assholes by definition.
All the animals we create are our children and all children are owed the unconditional love and protection of their creator. The experiences of animals are real and matter. Their suffering is identical in nature to your own. It harms us when we take pleasure in cruelty and violence.
Must be nice to be so profoundly confident in your own self righteousness, especially when that righteousness is prefaced with name calling.
What do you exactly intend to convey by that comment? Please elaborate.
