President Joe Biden's reelection campaign says it raised a whopping $90 million last month with help from the national party.

Democrats' $192 million war chest more than doubles the $93.1 million Republicans reported having on hand as the general election battle between Biden and former President Donald Trump begins to take shape.

Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee announced $65.6 million in fundraising for the month of March. The party committee and the former president's campaign are sharing resources now that Trump has clinched the Republican nomination.

Republicans' fundraising has lagged for the last several months. The presumptive Republican nominee's campaign and the RNC have routinely raised less than Biden. Trump has hawked sneakers and Bibles as he juggles paying his legal fees with raising cash for his presidential campaign.

The $93.1 million the Republicans have won't even pay Trump's reduced appeal bond. LOL. And you know he's going to grift all of that into his own legal expenses.

And the knowledge that he's going to be doing that will make most major donors hesitate.

It's what I hope for. Him bankrupting the GoP and losing the election hard due to no funding being available

Not just his election. All. Of. Them. :)

I cringe every time I see political funds referred to as "war chests." It's just so fucking macho. Gotta be a meme at this point.

The boys and I would call a cooler full of Mountain Dews our war chest before hopping into Halo 2.

Don't matter how much he raised if the people in charge of the money are to fucking stupid to make sure you get on the ballot in OHIO. It's like Binden wants to lose. Between this and putting energy into Florida instead of Michigan, Pennsylvania and other battleground states. It's like watching 2016 all over again.

Seems inconsequential. Trump gets free press and Republicans, despite not being a monolith, love voting red.

The way voting works, specifically the Electoral College, Dems have an insane amount of ground to catch up. Also, everyone on the left (actual) is so disenfranchised from the process and the terrible candidates that get proffered. It’s exacerbated by disinformation and biased reporting.

I’d love to be happily surprised but I think we're getting a Trump 2nd term. Please, please, please prove me wrong, fellow Americans.

Really hope America proves you wrong, as a second Trump term is very likely to spell the end of open and fair elections

Trump is a useful idiotic narcissist. If he wins, all the people who own him will use him to usher in a fascist government where the rich control everything (in a more overt manner). Then, they kill Trump and blame the Left to start a purge.

Why do you even need a well functioning campaign when daddy Putin can just cut a blank check for you

@MicroWave

We should start planning a street party for when Trump croaks

And even if it was: it goes to his personal court costs.
