Don't see the point of having released this refresh, splashed the dumbass ye olde mindset warning on the start up screen only to keep walking back any amount of sexiness in it. Are these idiots trying to bury Lara as one of rhe sexiest female icons of gaming or something? What a sad bunch.

Probably trying to get free publicity through manufactured outrage.

This is a great example of overreaching self censorship. I looked at the mod because I was curious what the fuss is about, and apparently it is two tiny, only very mildly suggestive pictures of her. Nothing scandalous to see at all.

For those horny people who didn't read the article, the posters are still there in the classic graphics settings.

The article is not clear- it just says the posters are blank when using g the remastered graphics now. I was kind of expecting a before vs after screenshot or something, but the article doesn't even mention specifically if this is a change from how it was before. From my reading I'm not sure that they even bothered upscaling those textures for the release at all.

Yeah this change is dumb. Now I wanna wait until these drop to $1.99 on a Steam sale or something. I own all the original games. Why censor them (other than muling stupidity)? The camp and sex appeal is part of the franchise. Removing it doesn't bring more fans in.

What is the point of removing them? It's just dumb.
