Sounds great! Still waiting for the self-hosting option though. Even with e2ee I don't like giving control over my notes out of my hands. And locking things like Tags and Markdown export behind a subscription does not feel like a future-proof solution.

Yes, that last thing is a deal breaker for me. No open source tool is trying to lock you in. That's the whole idea of open source.

wow, it seems notesnook has matured a LOT. After the self hosting comes out i wouldnt be surprised if it becomes the de-facto notes app recommendation for privacy communities. their free tier is just too good and they have zero VC connections. top notch.
