I have kept all notifications silent on my devices for a few years and it's really nice. Now if only I could figure out how to stop closing lemmy and then tapping on lemmy immediately afterwards, sometimes multiple times in a row

Fails to allow using the phone as a productivity tool, and fails to prevent the other computers in the room from being used to browse entertainment websites.
doesn't work on Linux desktop, requires mac or windows. Might work on Wine but it's probably unable to access native Linux browsers, but I'd have to test if it works that way or not.
