It’s become such a ahitty site since that pencil dick who moderated jailbait took over.
He’s a piece of shit but he didn’t mod that sub, he was added by another person back when you could just mod anyone you want.
I hate Reddit now and what he’s done to it, but I also hate misinformation.
Curious to see if lemmynsfw.com has seen an increased in activity
How large in scale is the ban wave? Reddit is a big site so even if some communities get banned not much people will care and even less will know about lemmy.
You can have a look here: https://old.reddit.com/r/reclassified/
Interesting to just look through some of them. For example: /r/cumminingonpigeons was banned
Pigeon lobby getting stronger every year
The state of politics in our country is saddening.
Which country is that ha ha
Our country
Yes
Bans are flowing.
Lemmynsfw just has such slow loading times I can't stand to use it
Interesting, seems pretty standard on my side. On which continent are you?
North America! I don't have the same problem on other instances. I just started going more to the source for stuff instead.
Strange, I guess a large part of the userbase must be in NA too 🤔
Looks like they're banning unmoderated subs and it looks like they're being unbanned with moderators responding. Looks like response time is 2 weeks.
I mean reddit sucks but this is a nothing burger of a story.
They denied two requests, I'll follow up on the most recent one just because I'm curious.
Might be nothing indeed, we'll see.
Even if they restore the sub, this post would still evidence that they struggle to find moderators.
I updated the title to be a bit more accurate.
Was this "Unmoderated" in the sense of the classic Reddit move of first banning the moderators so they can ban the sub without saying why?
No idea, I don't follow that sub that closely
