Even if Trump paid him the $2 million he says that he’s owed, he’d still be $146 million short of what he owes the 2 poll workers that he lost the lawsuit to.

Giuliani declared bankruptcy in December 2023 after a jury awarded $148 million to two Georgia election workers who had won a defamation lawsuit against him.

As an attorney for Trump in 2020, Giuliani falsely alleged mother-daughter duo committed election fraud while counting ballots in Fulton County.

When he declared bankruptcy in December 2023, Giuliani revealed that he was considering legal action against Trump for lack of payment.

Giuliani allegedly had an oral agreement with Trump to be paid $20,000 a day for legal advice during the presidential election.

Part of Trump's interest in Giuliani was the status of having the former New York mayor as his legal adviser.

The total figure for Giuliani's legal fees amounts to about $2 million, the New York Times reported in 2021.
