Risk regional war? He's trying to provoke one.
That's what I keep saying. He wants a forever war so he can maintain his dictatorship.
His former best friend said the same thing and people didn't listen: https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-798324
Israel is one of the major intelligence hub in the world. So how did the October 7 attack happen if that was true?
Netanyahu allowed it. Look at the Wikipedia page. He knew. He sacrificed his own people and allowed it to happen.
Egypt said it warned Israel days before the attack that "an explosion of the situation [was] coming, and very soon, and it would be big."[81] Israel denied receiving such a warning,[82] although Michael McCaul, Chairman of the US House Foreign Relations Committee, said that warnings were given three days before the attack.[83]
That's two countries saying Israel knew days before the attack.
According to The New York Times, Israeli officials had obtained detailed attack plans more than a year before the attack.
The New York Times, who spread propaganda fpr Israel, said Israel knew.
The Times reported, "Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision." According to The Times, the document was widely circulated among Israeli military and intelligence leadership, who largely dismissed the plan as beyond Hamas's capabilities, though it was unclear whether the political leadership was informed.
The Times is a British newspaper. They said the IDF knew and information stopped somewhere in the chain of command. That's two newspapers outside their country that knew the attack was going to happen.
According to a BBC investigation, surveillance reports suggested that Hamas was planning a significant operation against Israel, but senior IDF officers repeatedly ignored the warnings.[99]
BBC is one of biggest news sources in the world.
That's three news sources outside Israel that knew more than one of top intelligence sources in the world. Mossad had spies in Hamas and some how thousands of fighters crossed the border.
Why am I saying all this? Well if the pro Israel group is really looking to see who is out against their own interests, they should look in their own government first.
If that were true then it wouldn't have fucked up his judicial reforms that he spent all his political capital trying to get passed. Oct 7th screwed him over and the only lifeline he's got is to keep the conflict going for as long as he can until he figures something out.
The Israeli people were divided on the Judicial Reforms. Some even fearing civil war. Just a theory, Netanyahu allowing the attack ensures he stays in power longer which gives him time to take more power. War gives more powers to presidents and prime ministers.
To be honest, I don't think the Supreme Court of Israel was ever going to vote against themselves. If I was a citizen of Israel, I wouldn't want them to.
Here is a quote from the article posted by @FlyingSquid@lemmy.world:
For him, vacating the government is like transferring ownership of property. Bibi is like a jealous husband, who cannot imagine his wife in the arms of another. It is an incurable disorder.
I really don't know much about the Judicial Reform. Please correct me if I am wrong about anything.
As long as the USA continues to unquestioningly support Israel, Netanyahu will do whatever the fuck he wants.
I know it is a right wing dogwhistle but America is a cuck. A hypocritical cuck.
looks like Israel is at the "poor military decisions" phase of fascism
Oh no, they killed some terrorist leaders. What a travesty!
Honestly some of you are so brainwashed by liberal propaganda that you find the deaths of terrorists to be a bad thing because "Israel bad" no matter what.
Ironic, isn’t it?
An Israeli shill named after the genocide AI, can’t make this shit up.
Meanwhile you shill for literal state sponsors of terrorism.
And my username is my first Xbox gamertag and has nothing to do with AI, dumbfuck.
Yeah I’m actually paid by Hamas, Iran and Putin.
Edit: /s obviously because this is the internet.
