Instead of trying butter for your grilled cheese try some butterfs

[-] mimosabuttler@lemmy.world 31 points 10 months ago

Sure. But have you heard about neobutter-rs? It’s written in rust. I can share my dot file if you want.

Maybe, instead of telling everyone they should switch to Linux at any opportunity you can, you should try switching to Linux.

[-] juliebean@lemm.ee 10 points 10 months ago

real talk though, use bacon grease instead of butter if you really wanna up your grilled cheese.

[-] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 8 points 10 months ago

Good advice for people that is actually interested on trying new things on their machine. If the user just likes to complain about Windows but when presented a real solution they say "it's too much work" or "nah, it's weird and looks difficult", then it's a lost case.

[-] sundray@lemmus.org 4 points 10 months ago

Yes, but what if they're complaining about their grilled cheese?

Then it means they are using a Mac Pro.

Honestly sometimes people just need to vent their frustrations and aren't interested in immediately starting a new project to solve their problems. This applies to life in general not just Linux.

I use mayo instead of butter.
