That's it that's all I have to say.

I think the changes are fine though I don't like the lack of separation between the post title and the body.

That, the monospace font, and the heart button which seems to be identical to the upvote button, are all changes I am not a fan of. Otherwise it's not bad.

It's different so I don't like it! That's at least until I am used to them in 2-5 days.

On more serious note: The delta/up/down count section on posts looks a bit overloaded to me. Not sure what I would change though.

You can selectively hide any of the scores in the account settings .

[-] Binette@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 months ago

My best guess would be something like changing the saturation of that section, but I'm not sure how that would work out either

Just wanted to throw my hat into the ring: I like them too.

Now we just need inline looping gifs/videos and I'll have every feature I've ever wanted👍

[-] IMALlama@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Inline gifs!

Cross posts, or links around Lemmy generally, also open in an embedded version of my default web browser (Firefox), which present the native Lemmy UI. This is a bigger one for me, but I don't run into it often.

... There's a setting to auto play gifs I just found. Does it not work and/or loop?

[-] riskable@programming.dev 3 points 2 months ago

It doesn't work in comments

[-] TheImpressiveX@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 months ago

...what UI changes? Was there a new update? I'm scared now.

[-] Binette@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 months ago

Do not be afraid.

[-] propter_hog@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

I was thinking the same thing; I don't see any changes. Are you guys getting yours from f-droid?

[-] propter_hog@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

Ok, I see now, the signing certificate changed, so f-droid hadn't installed it yet.

[-] Flynn_Mandrake@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 2 months ago

Yeah, same. Much more pleasant on the eye

[-] TechieDamien@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 months ago

In general I like it, but I'm not a fan of the monospace font used for the server names.

[-] dessalines@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 months ago

Same, we could change it back to the same style.

I still just want to mark something as read, not necessarily vote one way or the other on it.

[-] wesker@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 2 months ago

It's actually more difficult to read and differentiate titles from communities from users.

Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
