Everything in the original Gears of War games, from the COG soldiers to the weapons, vehicles, monsters and creatures looks like chunky action figures. I like how earnestly dumb it all is 
I admit I hated it from the start for the sheer brobro "WHERE'S MY WIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE" 
vibes and when it got popular and got sequels and was everywhere for a while, well, that sucked because even its gameplay mechanics of chest high walls and all that started to be imitated.
