Dead Pixels aren't always covered by warranty by the way.

This is why you should only purchase expensive shit online if you live in a country with a mandatory 14 day no-questions-asked return window for online purchases.

Yup. Sometimes you have to have two, three, or even more dead pixels before you'll be able to get a warranty replacement.

But wouldn't it just become a zombie pixel like the rest?

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 17 points 3 weeks ago

Good question. It may be answered in one of the many, increasingly worse sequels, prequels, and reboots. Excited yet? 😎🎬🎞️

It really went downhill after movie 12

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 6 points 3 weeks ago

Ah yes. “LIVING PIXEL IN SPACE” mainly failed because Michael Cera got replaced by Jesse Eisenberg to voice Pixel.

[-] atocci@lemmy.world 10 points 3 weeks ago

They're undead, not zombies. They might have been raised from the grave by like, a litch or something and not a zombie virus idk

Only in hard mode. In normal mode there's a 50% chance, and in easy mode it just dies.

[-] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Maybe they're more like skeletons than zombies, who's to say they're infectious?

[-] Iheartcheese@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

My skeleton is infectious. Isn't that normal?

Whatever you're smoking, I want it.

I have an old 48" plasma screen at my cottage that weighs about 200lbs. It's an old hand me down and its been through deep freeze every winter for about 10 years now and its still going. It has a thin vertical streak of a red line on the left side but the picture and sound still look great. I've been waiting for it to die so I can replace it but I think at this point it is just the living dead.

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 5 points 3 weeks ago

There’s a corny horror movie name in there. 🤔🎞️

Is anyone else physically incapable of reading this because the resolution been absolutely deep fried

[-] CustardFist@feddit.nl 11 points 3 weeks ago

Sorry about that. I wanted to post a higher res version, but Lemmy kept rejecting it. I probably hit some limit there.

In Sync for Lemmy app, open the post so you can see the comments, then click on the image for both resolution readability.
