That is illegal. Just in case anyone still gives a shit.
Add it to the pile of shit.
DoJ is on it as soon as prosecuting crimes doesn't look political.
Legality literally doesn't matter anymore
I know. I still had to point it out.
Welcome to the banging our heads against the wall club, helmets are on the left.
As an edit: I didn't mean to be condescending there are just a LOT of helmets still hanging there
"Helpful" and "shitty" have always been what matters anyway.
What's the crime? Honest question, I'm not being facetious.
Presumably (if I had access to Putin) I could phone him and ask him to not escalate the war. Why is that illegal?
Guessing they meant as a violation of the Logan act. As he is not in office he isn't supposed to be negotiating with foreign governments. The U.S. is providing military aid, and in truth not that he cares, but he isn't up to date on U.S. Intel. Maybe they'll tell us it was another law though
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
“Tells”.
I can’t even. I hope my downvoter voters appreciate the absurdity of the media portraying this dynamic of your dear leader.
Who are your downvoters? Looks like hardly anything you've posted in the last 24 hours has had more than one downvote. A couple of comments on China had slightly more.
Maybe I don't get downvotes from specific instances over here on Fedia.
fedia rules, lemmy drools
It was more in anticipation tbh.
I've been pushing my own envelope lately regarding anger and keep expecting a smackdown.
Well, when I was young I told my father to make it stop snowing. Eventually it did, and I gave him full credit.
I'm sure Putin will mention this in Trump's next performance review.
"Don't escalate anything, we'll have them crippled, starving and freezing by February and you can walk right in"
Just to say it out loud: in the days after the election and call, Putin is amassing 50,000 troops for a big push. This is propaganda to make his eventual "negotiate peace by letting Russia keep whatever they have at the date of cease-fire" plan more palatable.
*wink
