Following this line of logic, the soviet union, the gayest army on earth, beat fascism in the 40's.
They allowed women in combat roles in the 1940's, literally the most woke military on earth at the time.
On one hand, discrimination is bad. On the other hand, less people in the military is good.
Destroying the facade of rainbow imperialism would be a major victory for the left, and republicans are doing it for us
True, but I'd much rather rainbow imperialism die to progressive foreign powers, rather than regressive policies from within. Oh well.
Very much a "let them fight" thing. If it radicalizes a few more queer folk against imperialism, all the better. 
If it stopped at the military and other tools of empire, yeah. But I feel it's going to happen everywhere.

You're probably right, but I can hope. Maybe this combined with other recruitment negative policies will at least reduce their strength?
But recruitment is starting to climb back up, even though branches aren't meeting their quotas, so who knows.
Yeah, Trump's made it pretty clear he's not friendly to trans people, and we make an easy target.

Eh, they've already been coming for other groups. Kinda bitter at all my fellow gay and trans friends that seemed a lot less progressive over the past year.
