[-] circuitfarmer@lemmy.sdf.org 23 points 4 months ago

Such a Brian Thomson thing to do

Correction: President Musk wants to stop Tesla having to report crashes and Vice President Trump of course has to come into line with President Musk's policy.

[-] adarza@lemmy.ca 72 points 4 months ago

yea, right. it was his idea.

[-] Fiivemacs@lemmy.ca 56 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Tesla's should be banned from being allowed to be on the roads then.

[-] the_real_monte@sh.itjust.works 45 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Fine, but from now on Trump has to travel exclusively by full self-driving teslas with FSD enabled at all times

[-] sunzu2@thebrainbin.org 24 points 4 months ago

he should only be allowed to use UHC health insurance plans too without being able to use his own money.

So what I'm hearing here is that Cybertrucks should be vandalized indiscriminately en masse across the country as a form of protest.

[-] PedestrianError@towns.gay 24 points 4 months ago

@TheTechnician27 @Vittelius Why bother vandalizing something that’s just going to fall apart on its own within a few weeks or months?

[-] Xtallll@lemmy.blahaj.zone 28 points 4 months ago

Muskrat has to work on his ventriloquism, he's got his arm way up there, but I think I saw his lips move for this announcement.

Elon will swear that it will continue to report crashes even though they don’t have to. And will proceed to not report anything.

[-] TomMasz@lemmy.world 17 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Friends don't let friends drive Teslas.

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 13 points 4 months ago

Trump is just doing what Musk commands him.

[-] fluxion@lemmy.world 8 points 4 months ago

What could go wrong

[-] Allonzee@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

I can just picture the secret service coming with black bags in the event of any survivors of Elon's death traps when they crash so they don't talk.

[-] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 months ago

What survivors? There never were any survivors...

[-] bookmeat@lemmynsfw.com 7 points 4 months ago

Great way to build trust!

[-] jagged_circle@feddit.nl 7 points 4 months ago

Something tells me they'll rule in favor of Tesla

[-] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

Okay but then police and insurance can’t use the camera recordings to track down a perp who keys Teslas. It’s only fair.

[-] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Hey, if it works in China, it may work in the US.

[-] Goodtoknow@lemmy.ca 1 points 4 months ago

Predicted by Not Just Bikes in his self driving cars video
