[-] festnt@sh.itjust.works 16 points 3 weeks ago

haha jokes on you, my country is so underdeveloped i have never seen a cybertruck in person!

[-] whostosay@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

Ours is so underdeveloped that we do see them all the fucking time driving past hundreds of homeless people a week if not day depending on location!

[-] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 3 weeks ago

i mean.. same, but I live in a city in Germany, so they just are rare I think

[-] Sylvartas@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 3 weeks ago

Might not even be road legal. IIRC they aren't in France because they are too wide

“ No you don’t understand it will improve user experience!”

We’ll i’m a users and it’s not improving my experience.

“Noooo it’s intuitive and more human way to interface!”

I’m sorry but I don’t find it intuitive to have to speak in riddles and hypotheticals to convince the search engine that it should tell me something.

“Ok but these are just teething issues the tech will improve over time.”

Then put it back in the fucking oven because it ain’t ready yet. Stop forcing me to participate in this shitty alpha. If you can’t improve this any further without public trials then I’m pretty sure it will never be a viable technology in the roles it’s being forced in to.

Watch your step, otherwise you might end up knee-deep in enshittification.

Gotta look for open source apps. Everything else turns to shit sooner rather than later.

For what it's worth, Discuit is open source and nonprofit; I've been there for over a year.

i am very much in the "ai sphere" and i care somewhat for what's going on. (as in, having fun testing the capabilities and figuring out actual usecases)

but yes, the way its used right now is agressive and unreasonable. no matter if websites intentionally use it or it's "user generated". very uncomf feeling when fake profile exists >:(

I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but it's basically become impossible to trust YouTube music compilations anymore. Like YT recommended me this and I don't understand how music can make me feel less, but it does.

I feel the whole point of enforcing apps down our throats is to at best shamelessly mine your data and sell to AI companies.
