I mean I guess the Roman salute excuse could work.... if not for the fact that that Musk is constantly seen in the company of Nazis and the Nazi adjacent, encourages and amplifies Nazi voices on the website he owns and literally grow up directly benefiting from Apartheid. Somebody still on Twitter might wanna take a couple of screenshots of who melon follows and reposts before he scrubs that off the site.
Not really, the Nazi salute is the so-called "Roman" salute, which is itself a pretty recent invention. They're the same thing. Like the swastika, it is completely corrupted outside of certain very specific contexts.
Obviously this is bad but I can't get over the fact that he looks like a petulant toddler who knows he is being naughty. Just look at his face expression and body language. Mfer can't even look menacing when he's doing the hitler salute. First as tragedy, then as farce and so on
