“I think the problem that we saw is that we were getting together as a group of premiers and the prime minister saying, ‘let’s not negotiate this in public,' and I did my part, saying, ‘let’s focus on the things that we know the Americans care about: national security and border security,’ and everybody else went off freelancing,” Smith told CTV’s Question Period host Vassy Kapelos in an interview airing Sunday.

“The thing they kept returning to was punishing Alberta and punishing energy,” Smith added. “So, I just wanted to make sure that we get back to talking about the things that unite us, rather than divide us.”

She accuses everyone else of going off alone while she's the only fuck who flew to Mar-a-lago to kiss the ring.

Everyone else went off freelancing, together?

[-] ChillPill@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago

Yes. Obviously. I'm glad you finally clued in.

Yeah, you did undermine Canada.

Maybe it's time to head south of the 49th and kneel at the orange feet.

...and fucking stay there. We never want to see her again in Alberta.

She was at the inauguration.

She was at where she thought the inauguration was... Didn't get an invite or a memo of location change 🤣

She wasted tax dollars on a pointless trip that amounted to nothing

She was doing the John Travolta looking for an oligarchs dick to suck.

[-] sbv@sh.itjust.works 17 points 4 days ago

Almost. She tried, but failed. That isn't any better, but let's keep the record straight.

She went there for the inauguration. They didn't let her in but that's why she was there. But you're right, we should make it clear she wasn't important enough to be let into the old boys club and they left her out in the cold.

Yeah. Sorry. I know it's nitpicky, but there's a lot of almost true stuff bouncing around Reddit right now. I want Lemmy to be better than that. So I'm being picky.

Typical right wing grievance baby. Faced with a difficult decision and they fold up and weep every time. Cannot be trusted to do anything but serve self-interest. No sense of country first, just naked tribalism. L'il PP, the pension king and life-long feeder at the public trough is exactly the same: pop remarks without hard plans to achieve an objective. Photo-ops with clownvoy protesters and a greasy, smug, fully rehearsed outrage performance when confronted with his own seditious behaviour. Maybe he'll visit a field like his chum, Trump, and find our how truly loved he is.

I am not a Canadian but if a regime who're is whoring for the wrong regime, that's called treason in tejas and traitors get the rope.
