why doesn’t the saudi military come in and deport them all back to europe and america then? they really should. if you have a birth certificate not from palestine or “israel” you should be deported, then go back to the 1947 borders before the creation of israel

[-] Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago

Well, if they did, I suppose Trumpist America would do to Saudi Arabia what they did to Iraq in the Gulf War

  • Israel is deranged and has the strongest military in the middle east atm, and nukes
  • The US has its navy on every major trade route
  • Europe's biggest members are all still aligned with Israel.

Basically Any nation attempting to jettison Israel would be devastated in multiple fashions, so none of them wants to start a large-scale fight.

[-] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 week ago

On the bright side, almost any nation is capable of destroying Israel because despite its arsenal of American weapons, it is very small.

The Saudi military is a proxy of the us military, given how much of Saudi arms come from the Americans.

[-] PanArab@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 week ago

The US would turn the entirety of Saudi Arabia into another Gaza. Sometimes it is wise to know how weak you are.

[-] newerAccountWhoDis@hexbear.net 6 points 1 week ago

The house of Saud is shit. They'd never do anything cool ever, not out of fear but because they're colonizers themselves.

[-] PanArab@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 week ago

Conquerors not colonizers, they had support from most of the major tribes. While recently they began acknowledging how diverse Saudi Arabia is, for the longest of time they had a policy of Najdification. They still show contempt to some aspects of the local cultures specially traditional Hejazi headdress.

I'm somewhat torn because there's a lot of positives but also some negatives that came from the conquest and unification of the Peninsula. I still prefer this outcome to being five or six different states, even if my ancestors fought for the Kingdom of Hejaz.

Some say they took money from the Brits to take over at the end of the 2nd WW as a end to kalifat.

[-] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 week ago

Saudi fought against the Caliphate alongside the British in order to secure their own land. Originally Palestine was supposed to be included in Saudi's bounty but the British gave it to the Zionists.

why doesn’t the saudi military come in and deport them all back to europe and america then

Because China hasn't taken Taiwan and made up with India yet

Soon: "All those Cubans have to be displaced to Mexico!"

I actually didn't realize that Israel is about the size of New Jersey... I always assumed it was bigger.

[-] nutsack@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 week ago

Everything outside at the United States is really small

90% of Canadians on the US border so you could argue most of Canada isn't habitable for large populations.

[-] Revan343@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Sure, but it's not what you do with it, it's the size that counts

[-] dessalines@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 week ago

Florida is also stolen land. I like this solution the best:

That's good, time to learn a bit of history now, and a lot of manners.

Otherwise we'll end up with this future: 2124, US invades Mexico (apparently with no reason but actually after years of conflicts) and Palestinians kick Israelis people away to play a never ending tennis match.

[-] Lussy@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago

promptly executive by the house of saud

[-] Birdie@thelemmy.club 7 points 1 week ago

You know, if that all powerful god of theirs wants the Zionists to have their own land, he should just poof a land of milk and honey out in the middle of the ocean. He could move the temple too, if he wanted.

That way everyone could live in peace.

[-] Dkarma@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

I mean, in fairness they should have been given Germany for obvious reasons but Europeans didn't want the Jews there so they "let them" have Palestine.

israel is just another honkey settler colonial state

honkeys hate themselves so much, and hate admitting that they hate themselves so much, that they've come up with antisemitism--an arbitrary designation of a group of honkeys as "non-honkey"--and are in the process of trying to convince the entire rest of the world that everything is their fault (instead of every honkey country's)

[-] huf@hexbear.net 9 points 1 week ago

eh. antisemitism is older than the invention of whiteness, so i dont think this makes any sense.

Aside: WTF is that cover photo? Is Trump dancing? Is it supposed to look like he's trying to throw a punch?

[-] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 9 points 1 week ago

It’s the time when Trump danced in a befuddled reverie for twenty minutes at a rally instead of continuing his planned speech. Trump inner-circle members called his performance “electrifying”.

[-] Mucki@feddit.org 2 points 1 week ago

It's a meme dance, nothing to worry about.

[-] 2ugly2live@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

The Palestinians have yet to gift him the golden limb of one of the many obliterated children, so it's not likely.

[-] LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

LOL yeah, like that toddler wants anything but money and attention.
