"Welp, my work here is done." wipes palms and walks away

He did as much damage as he could while Trump was out of office and is now ready to hand over the reigns to someone worse.

They are bringing back Ajit Pie and his giant mug.

[-] cmbabul@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Transparent ploy to hire someone for another 10 yr term, tying hands of next dem president.

[-] Pronell@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

Nah, he knows the postal service can now just be shut down, Constitution be damned. He did his job and burned down his competition.

[-] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 13 points 1 month ago

What next president? You really believe there will be any?

But with that in mind:

Next dem president should.take pages from 2025. Just do whatever the frack you want to do. Fire ALL and everyone that was hired during Trump's admin, start from scratch.

They'll have to rewrite all software as well as Elmo's grubby fingers have tainted all the current systems

"A return to normalcy" and "nothing fundamental will change" - what we'll actually get, if that

[-] reddig33@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Which is interesting because Biden had the majority seats on the postal board last year. He could have removed DeJoy and appointed his own ten year postmaster. But no.

[-] MegaUltraChicken@lemmy.world 28 points 1 month ago

And he should never have safety out in public again.

[-] Captainautism@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 1 month ago

F’d up thing is despite this guy being a tool he actually thought he could improve the USPS. Now he’s out and we’re gonna get someone worse.

[-] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

His DFA plan is only partially implemented... What happens when the next PMG decides they like air mail again.
