The first half of the 20th century was a different time for archeology. Taking things from other countries to put in faraway museums, tripping ancient traps, punching Nazis...

Wasn’t there the story about that one bloke who dug up a helmet like this, later variety so a bit more head shaped right, put it on and couldn’t get the bloody thing off again can’t remember how they managed maybe a bit of olive oil idk
