At least they don't cheap out on the VRAM if there really is a 16GB variant
I really dislike when they make multiple versions of the same card, gotta always be checking if it's the correct one and can't recommend to a friend without worry ('Make sure it's the 16gb one!' and they always buy the wrong one)
Is this gonna be a good card?
If they are affordable, yes, otherwise, no. The 9070 at MSRP or up to ~10% is likely the best value of the last 4y. There has recently been a drop in EU and prices hit MSRP again in several outlets.
I dunno, 770 bucks for whatever performance is too expensive. I wouldn't call it good value. I wouldn't spend more than, like, 400, but call me old and grumpy. Is it going to offer me twice as good a user experience than what I have today? No.
I can spend the difference in better ways. I don't care about graphics as much anyway, I want a good game and for it to be playable.
For example, I'd much prefer to get a 400 card and a 3d printer or a drone or a bike or something else, than a 800 card only.
