Yes!

My list of open source software lists LibreTrack as an open source delivery tracking app for Android and Linux.

I finally got around to installing this app but it requires an account. Is this a recent requirement?

On my list it shows that I have not personally used the software, so I have no idea. This is good to know, though, so thank you! I'll be sure to replace it with a better alternative if one exists.

No DHL support is unfortunate.

How do you expect to get tracking results if USPS isn't actually doing tracking?

[-] kkj@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 month ago

If it's the app failing and not the API that it contacts, then a different app could work.

One option is running changedetection.io on your server, it works for basically anything since it's actually loading a full web page and checking for changes.

Nice since it seems like everything these days requires apis and all kinds of BS to use in an app.

Depends. Does your universal package delivery provide an API?
