Chat, share your game screen, and hang out with friends using GameChat, a new online feature for Nintendo Switch 2!

With GameChat, people can play games and talk like everyone is in the same room, even if they are miles apart. Whether sharing a victory or just waving hello, GameChat makes it feel like online friends around the world are on the same couch. Players can start a chat with friends anytime by pressing the C Button on the right Joy-Con 2 controller.

Very surprising given they never featured any communication systems! I always figured they want to be 100% family safe and any chat/communication feature could be missused against that. A welcome feature though, now i'd only need friends.

Ehhhh it's cool that this is a feature, but boy did it look laggy.

I'll believe that if scrolling the shop list of games works without lagging and crashing.

I really hope they'll fix the eshop...

Does it really take up a third of the screen the whole time? I really hope this is for demonstration only...

I asume it's a setting to show it or not. Otherwise it would be very annoying, i don't need to see face of people i play with.

I think they showed 2 different sizes, one had 4 users taking full width, and one had it taking about half screen width. Height was proportional to width in both.
