The beans I usually buy in bulk from a local roaster have gone up 25% in the last couple years for me. And I purposefully bought the cheaper ones. It sucks lmao
For commodity coffee a random 30% increase is just a Tuesday. The C price has almost quadrupled in the past 5 years and fluctuates wildly. It jumped 30% from December to February and is down 15% from a month ago.
Where the tariffs will really increase prices is any roasteries that are actually paying ethical prices based on cost of production to begin with. The chuds that would revolt already aren't going to those shops.
January 6th, but at Dunkin HQ

Calling it now: Tarriffs aren't gonna happen because nothing ever happens.
What does nothing ever happens mean to you?
Literally a lot happens. Like the world is changing from the status quo of 2019 very quckily.
It’s a through terminating cliche to pretend that if America isn’t destroyed then nothing has happened
usians will spring to action!
depose the fascists and get the.... fascists.. in power..?
Climate change is also causing some draughts, raising prices on certain regions. Working with the stuff, I'll always have quick access, but I often wonder how my job would look if suddenly these burlap sacks quadruple.
I'm super excited for the day we do, but a great deal of usian heads're still livin in a liberals paradise fantasy
Voyager and Captain Janeway’s struggle for coffee was a documentary
I remain skeptical
I mean, supply will go down and so will demand because of lower tolerance
