The comments are predictably insufferable.

These comments are actually pretty good for a normal mainstream gaming sub and all the lib ones got downvoted hard.
Some good examples:
Nintendo aside, this is the only time you'll hear me complain about somebody being too far left lmao
They say all that but they'll be doing the equivalent of the following upon release of switch 2:
At 650 I think a lot of people who would want to won't be able to. If nintendo announces no price change though, all bets are off
That's a blast from the past!
Incredible
I hate that this is all they care about.
It's fucking stupid but at least it's something to get the apathetic types to actually give a shit for once, even if it's for the most dogshit reason.
It's completely expected of the Average American Voter™. They will abide by anything their particular brand of news broadcasts tell them to until it personally affects them. They don't have bumper stickers or signs in their yards, they're not heavily invested one way or the other, they have never seen C-SPAN in their entire lives. Vibes based democracy for them.
You'd run into centrists that are like: "I'm not fully MAGA but I voted Trump because I don't support student debt forgiveness because I worked 8 hours a week as a door to door lawn dart salesman to pay off my student loans, these millennials need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps"
"Oh you cut Medicaid? Sorry Mr Trump, I will not be voting GOP in 2028, I usually vote for whoever the incumbent is ever since Ronald Reagan, no matter how unpopular they are. But this time, you have crossed the line!"
The current G*mer caucus is just as Average American Voter™ as the rest of them, just younger in age. These absolute dipshits will be the ones to actually decide elections, which is much more concerning than a brainwashed mob of Republican retirees in the Villages in Florida. They don't know about a genocide or any tariffs or annexing Greenland or Green New Deal or whatever. They chug along and blame whatever bad happens to them personally on the [Current President] and vote against them.
Treatlerism is much like any other reactionary ideology. It infects the mind like a brainworm
The Redditoid vote-addicts making it seem like everything would be fine with Harris is so fucking annoying. No reason to read Reddit comments.
Mess with the treats and political violence becomes acceptable lmao
It's tru tho
Take away the circuses and everyone starts realizing how little bread they're getting
Chinese-style meme. This is a meme you'd see in China
Scalper Prices
Isn't the Japan tariff 24%? Why would it go up from 400 to 650? China manufacturing also raising price?
Nintendo announced the price before the tariffs, one more point is that nintendo makes its consoles in vietnam-cambodia which were hit with 47% tariffs
So the switch 2 plus the 47% tariff ends up around 650 USD
He announced the tariffs after the price was announced. It just is that price because Nintendo is a capitalist company
Now that the tariffs are in play it could raise though

I thought that was like a wireframe Boo from above for like 10 seconds.
Ooooooh I just figured out what it was. Damn
Took me at least half a minute
It took me about 3... I was about to ask what it was.
Will you all stop bragging and just explain the damn thing?
