Hey did you know that if you live in the US you can take Weather 101 classes from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration from home on your computer for free?
Tonight I was in the class for Severe Thunderstorms.
This has been me with Meshtastic. JFC I'm all in on it. Already have something like 9 nodes built and have been asking if I can place nodes in various places around my town to build out the mesh.
I dream of finding a useful application for it so I can rationalize the purchases.
It's pretty useful for off-grid comms. It's also pretty cheap to get started. I got two Heltec V3 devices that include the little antennas with them for $37 total.
There needs to be a hobby fair where people can trade stuff with each other
