Doesn't apply outside of EU. It's very easy to make different versions of phones. iPhone 14 in some countries have no sim card slot while in other countries it does. If they can do that for hardware, they can do it for software. They can make the requirement of sideloading be requiring turning on the GPS and you will be on the right side of the law, while blocking non-EU users from sideloading. Maybe they wont, but the point is that if they wanted to be evil for some reason, they can.

There are also many developing countries in the world. Not saying it justifies the current state of the US, but to put it in perspective, a lot of people still want to come to the US. As an immigrant, I do not wish to go back to my former country, I mean, unless war breaks out or the US becoming a dictatorship or something, but its already too late for me. Typically yes, but in this case, there is no modlog for the reason of removal since the logs got purged by the admins. They forgot to delete the other log which says the user was banned and reason being "Misinformation"

There a modlog button at the bottom of the page, you can see for yourself, but they might've be deleted by now.

Edit: Apparantly, the user was only banned from the community, his account is still not banned.

Enjoy buying things tied to an online account which the platform can arbitrary ban at anytime with no legal recourse. When corporations fuck with paying customers, that's what they get.
