Using Tor is considered terrorist activity in France

Why couldn't the US just do the same?

Internet freedom and privacy needs not only needs protection by technological tools like Tor or VPNs, but also needs legal protection. Would anyone use Tor if the government starts raiding houses? Tor users are such a small minority that the government can easily throw you all in prison.

I already said this in another comment but Samsung STILL makes them! https://www.samsung.com/us/business/mobile/phones/galaxy-xcover-pro/

Yea it's technically made for bussiness to give to their employees but you can still buy it for personal use. Specs ain't great tho, but the point is that it is possible.

Lemmy isn't weird at all. Now P2P platforms like secure scuttlebutt and aether, that's some weird stuff. I couldn't get them working at all (or maybe nobody is using these anymore). P2P is very confusing for me. I assume that a federated network is as confusing for many people as p2p social networks are confusing for me. I guess there will be someone out there who reads my comment and be like: "What? P2P networks are so simple, what don't you understand?" I guess people just have different amount of tolorance to being confused by complexity of something before they just give up. I couldn't figure out those P2P systems so I just give up.

Your cat goes on walks? My cat just bites the harness when I attach it to her. If I pick her up and put her outside, she'll run back and scratch the door if it's closed. Funny enough, she sometimes runs outside through the the opening as someone is entering/leaving the house, then a few minutes later come back scratching the door. I don't know if she likes outside or not, what a weird cat.

Pick up cat and give a hug, don't let go. The cat will soon leave you alone thinking ur weird for wanting such a long hug. Your cat might vary.

Damn, y'all have so much stuff. I kinda put my faith in the internet and hoped that civilization doesn't collapse and torrent stuff whenever I want to watch them.
